Clap & Tap Metronome does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services. The app makes no network connections.
If you choose Mic practice mode, the app asks for microphone access so it can detect the timing of your claps or instrument hits. This audio is analyzed live on your device and immediately discarded. It is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere. You can use the app fully without granting microphone access by using the tap pads instead.
Your saved rhythms, guided-practice high scores, and settings are stored only on your device (and in your personal device backups). We have no access to them.
The app is designed to be safe for children: it collects no data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads, purchases inside lessons, external links, or social features.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
